Josh Oades

Service Desk Engineer

Josh is a service desk engineer for one of our key account customers. He is based on site at the customers head office and takes responsibility for ensuring all their IT systems are running correctly and efficiently. Specifically, he deals with server room checks, user account set up, health & safety and escalation of any telephone and support ticket queries, office walk-in queries.

Josh has Level 3 qualifications in ICT including an Advanced Apprenticeship and CompTIA training accreditations.

Prior to joining Infinium, Josh has worked as an IT apprentice for an IT solutions company where he experienced working in various functions as IT support, hardware provision, network and connectivity management and VoIP (Voice over IP telecom services).

In his spare time, Josh enjoys playing Poker and plays in a variety of tournaments online and is a keen gamer, particularly, FPS games. He’s also a Newcastle United fan and enjoys nights out with his friends in Newcastle.
