Department: Sales & Marketing based at Head Office
Reporting to: Group Commercial Director
Hours: 40 hours (Mon – Fri)
Salary: £25,000 +

Main Purpose:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the full marketing mix, to include: digital marketing, content marketing, lead generation and collateral updates. The successful candidate will enjoy a variety of tasks as necessitated by the changing needs of a growing business.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the sales team with lead generation/prospecting and thus driving qualified traffic to our door
  • Responsible for the continued management of the Company’s web presence
  • Delivering the digital marketing strategy to include maintaining and updating the website and keeping in mind SEO best practice to ensure traffic is driven organically.
  • Creating and managing social media channels to drive engagement with the brand and quality leads
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idea to execution
  • Create a communication and content strategy, carrying throughout the brand aesthetic and the core values of the business
  • Own & manage the ongoing marketing budget
  • Editing sales and marketing collateral, creating relevant visuals and refreshing regular case studies with clients
  • Research and present primary and secondary market research findings to Directors
  • Identify and attend relevant networking to generate new business leads
  • Managing customer and prospect data in CRM system to ensure accurate data for campaigns and reporting
  • Manage the brand identity both internally and externally
  • Take a proactive approach to encouraging team social activity and arranging events
  • Any such duties that may be required.

Key Competence Requirements

  • Digital Marketing in particular SEO, managing and updating websites, email marketing, PPC and social media advertising
  • Working knowledge of CRM Systems
  • Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop/InDesign to edit and create marketing collateral
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • A creative approach with a particular emphasis to detail
  • Highly organised and confident

Experience and/or Qualifications

Essential:

  • Marketing degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing role

Desirable:

  • Driving Licence
